Artisan Aesthetic Clinics is looking for a registered medical practitioner to perform tele-health scripting for in-clinic cosmetic nurses, complementing our existing network of doctors. You will be experienced in cosmetic injectables, established in the skin-health and wellness industry, and have a desire to support our growing clinic portfolio through telehealth. You will have a client-centric approach and be able to work collaboratively with our team of cosmetic nurses by consulting with clients, providing medical expertise, and issuing scripts via telephony for injectable treatments to be administered by our cosmetic nurse injectors.

You will be able to easily create rapport and be part of a virtual team that is focused on delivering an amazing client experience and foster long-term client retention and satisfaction. You will be driven by a desire to guide and support clients on their skin journey and see them gain confidence as they experience real results.  

More About You  

It’s important to us that you align with our values, including a desire to provide the best possible results, and a personalised experience for our clients. You may be currently working at a clinic, as a telehealth provider, or you may indeed be running your own clinic and looking to focus on telehealth.  You will be professional, calm, confident, have high levels of self-awareness, value collaboration and have the desire and ability to work as part of a virtual, cross-functional teams. You will be expected to:

  • Conduct initial consultations for clients for medical injectable treatments, via tele-health (eg. Skype); carefully considering clients’ medical suitability for treatments, and advising clients and cosmetic nurses on suitable treatments to achieve their goals
  • Issue prescriptions on behalf of nurses for medical injectables, eg. anti-wrinkle, dermal filler injectables and bio-stimulators – at least two days per week
  • Work from a clinic at least 1 day per week – consulting with, and treating clients – to ensure that you stay connected with the clinic teams and with clients face to face
  • Have experience treating clients with anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, bio-stimulators, platelet-rich plasma treatment and other injectables, such as PDO threads. Experience with laser treatments plus a full Qld laser license would be advantageous, but not essential as we will provide professional development if required.
  • Be proficient in all indications of cosmetic injecting, including advanced practice indications, including jaw reshaping, temples, tear troughs, etc. Experience in treating noses would be advantageous, but not essential as we will provide professional development if required
  • Provide consultation, advice, and adverse event management for any medical issues that may arise
  • Be an AHPRA accredited medical practitioner – either a doctor, or a nurse practitioner
  • Be familiar with tele-health requirements and etiquette
  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, including legislation and internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional, client-centric approach

You will be well supported by a skilled and experienced Support team, which includes our in-house legal counsel (with medical background) providing support and advice to clinicians; and our own Clinical & Education Division to ensure our clinicians are always trained and developed to the highest level.
