Clinical Educator - Gold Coast

Artisan is now looking for Clinical Educators to embed the in-clinic training and professional development of our clinicians. This role will report to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and be responsible for performing assessments, educating, coaching, mentoring and creating individual professional development plans for all of our clinical team members.

This role is critical in the next evolution of Artisan’s strategy in delivering the highest standards of care, safety and aesthetic results for our clients via the ongoing education and training of our team.

About You

You have experience in driving clinical excellence through the delivery of training, coaching and mentoring fellow clinicians

You have a keen eye for detail and an ability to identify opportunities to upskill and develop clinical team members within the areas of clinical, aesthetics and consulting skills

You are a qualified Registered Nurse and hold a current AHPRA Registration

You, yourself, are a highly skilled clinician who can expertly deliver safe cosmetic injecting treatments

Ability to grasp technology

The Role

As a Clinical Educator, the key areas of focus are:

  • Working closely with the leadership team to consistently facilitate an improvement of skills and capabilities across the clinical team through assessment, training, observation and mentoring
  • Delivering coaching and training to clinicians in adherence with the clinical Standard Operating Procedures and in line with individual professional development plans
  • Performing treatments within agreed clinics and consistently displaying a passion for delivering clinical excellence to our clients

  • Collaborate with the operational leadership team to ensure all clinical team members are assessed for clinical competencies
  • Be highly competent in the delivery of training and education programs
  • Have a sound understanding of clinical skills and consulting capabilities required to achieve role related goals and KPIs
  • Support the onboarding of all new clinical staff to ensure they are appropriately assessed and trained in order for them to perform to the optimal level in line with the Artisan way
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is created for completed assessments and development plans
  • Provide input into clinical Standard Operating Procedures and other protocols, and supporting the implementation of these within the clinics
  • Be proficient in all indications of cosmetic injecting, including advanced practice indications such as jaw reshaping, temples and tear troughs
  • Have experience with hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, collagen building agents, platelet-rich plasma treatments, medical grade lasers, including vascular and pigmentation, and medical skin tightening treatments
  • Possess of a full laser licence, and have demonstrated laser competency (desirable but not essential)
